Beginning January 2021, the Church will replace its four current magazines with three global magazines, the First Presidency announced on Friday. Improved and expanded digital versions will also be available.
The three global magazines will be the Friend (for children), For the Strength of Youth (for youth) and the Liahona (for adults) — retiring the Ensign title and renaming the youth magazine, which was previously the New Era.
Imagine explaining to non-members where the name Liahona comes from, it will be a golden missionary moment for any askers with a liking for sc-fi (and sci-fi is very popular).
The Ensign should be cut. It as pure cult indoctrination without any substance. When they treat mature adults as 11 year olds with their intellectual faith promoting stories, its time to fold shop and go get laid. Just make sure the Holy Ghost is involved as prophetess Wendy assures is proper
