RFM Has Big Day at Utah Records Committee Hearing!

Hi, everybody!

Sorry I have been so busy with my self-imposed burden of putting up a new podcast at Radio Free Mormon every weekday that I haven't had a lot of time to look at what is happening here at the old homestead.

I did have a wonderful day at a hearing with BYUPD in front of the Utah State Records Committee last Thursday!

I enjoyed listening to the proceedings within minutes after you posted it. It's going to be interesting to see how the records committee rules after they examine the redacted information -- you know -- the stuff that was blackened to protect the Church.

With everything the way it is now days with the cops, I'm not surprised!

NEWS FLASH! I just learned from the clerk of the Utah State Records Committee that BYUPD has turned the emails over to the Committee for their inspection. This was a complete surprise to me, I must admit. The next hearing is scheduled for a week from today on June 11, 2020. At that hearing, I expect the Committee will make their announcement as to which emails, if any, should be released to the public.

Important announcement! I have learned that BYUPD actually did turn over the emails to the Utah state records committee for their review. The committee should be issuing their ruling on which emails, if any, to release at next Thursday's hearing on June 11.
