My favorite Dylan is Positively 4th Street.

Much as I absolutely love the live stuff from 75-76, I don't hear much or any pathos in it.

That came later.

Quite frankly, I dislike the contemporary pathos immensely.

I can't speak to that. I guess Dylan stopped being relevant in 1977 for you.

I'm younger, sorry.

My Dylan is backwards looking.

It hasn't stopped my enjoyment of the incredible music he produced in the past.

I'm guessing you don't like his 1997 Grammy Award winning album?

Dylan's relevance for me is historical.

There's the difference, I suppose.

Dylan's relevance for me is as a songwriter--not a generation-specific museum piece. Man, that sucks for you, even if you don't realize it.

Until just now, I had no idea Dylan wrote this song! I guess I assumed Brooks did. (Sorry! I know it's nearly unforgivable.)

This video is also from the 2000 concert tour.

The version of "Just Like A Woman" you like best, again from 1975.

I actually like most of his songs better when they're slowed down a bit. I really like the country twang of this version.

Nobody feels any pain
Tonight as I stand inside the rain
Ev'rybody knows
That Baby's got new clothes
But lately I see her ribbons and her bows
Have fallen from her curls.
She takes just like a woman, yes, she does
She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does
And she aches just like a woman
But she breaks just like a little girl.
