One thing I've noticed lately is a sure sign that Trump has just said something that is a lie or he doesn't want challenged. It's this not so subtle "talk to the hand" motion, like he's expecting the inevitable objection people should be giving and warding it off:
I've been noticing it a lot lately, and it's always on the heels a some flavor of BS. Trump has always had bullshitter's body language, but this one really seems to stick out.
Watch any of his latest appearances, and you'll see it a lot.

A Trump Tell
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
Re: A Trump Tell
Trump has an obvious tell when he is lying.
His lips move.
His lips move.

Slurred words drool out.
Sorry. I can't take this guy any more.

There must be a haiku in there somewhere.
Trump opens his mouth.
Tongue gets tangled up in lies.
And slurred words drool out.
I know. The "and" is kind of cheating.

Well then it's cheating about a cheater. I'm willing to overlook it if you are.

Yes, no doubt.
I think the main point of my post was to say that I suspect he does it most especially to ward off a verbal challenge to something he just said. It's like he's saying with that hand movement, I know what I just said was BS, but before you challenge it, let me just change the subject here so that you forget to come back to it...
