That's quite a leap there.

This is just so common sense-y that I don't see anyone wanting to do it.

instead, maybe just seize all the bullets?

That is way removed from common sense. How does making a gun more legal solve the problem. Are we suffering from people who just are untrained with firearms? The car analogy is likely a horrible example given the general competency exhibited in daily traffic.

And those are the people who PASSED the test.

Treating guns like automobiles is a very good idea, from training to testing to insuring against their misuse. Know who is good at figuring out how risky a person might be and price them out of the gun market if they are an unreasonable risk? Yeah.

I'd like to know what the health requirements would be. Otherwise I think it's a sound plan. I'd really like to see the liability insurance happen. I don't see anything there that our family gun owners wouldn't agree to.

The above could be adopted at state level couldn't it?

so, for you, is not the gun but rather is the competency of the gun owner.... its about their mental composition. right on... finally.

Simon Biles' brother arrested for shooting and killing three people:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/30/us/cleve ... index.html

On the night of the shooting, a group of uninvited guests walked into a home and a fight began, authorities said. The fight led to the shooting and multiple people were hit.

Two people -- Delvaunte Johnson, 19, and Toshaun Banks, 21 -- died at the scene. A third person, Devaughn Gibson, 23, later died at a hospital.

Smh. Guns are too easy to get, and too easy to use.
