Can’t disagree. But Chicago has economic development problem. And it’s Achilles Heel is union/govt worker unfunded pension liability problem. Liberal unions got away with spiffing their own cronies for years as they never had any moral conscious nor intellectual capital to be able to solve the problem.

GUESS WHAT - now it comes time to pay for it! They’ve taxed the crap out of everyone and everything so now the revenue generators for that community are leaving! Spending without a brain is “Socialism”! Look where it goes!

This problem in this great city is no different than letting your 5 old child fill the grocery cart while pushing it down the aisle. Feels great an hour or two until parents wake up and become adults! But now weekends aren’t feeling so great under Rahm! What’s worse is that young people become victims because Rahm never became that adult this great city needed. He only knew how Obama did things.

I thought it was interesting to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there either, honestly. That's mostly about the weather and traffic - I'm not interested in living in any more big cities at this point.

I was recently up the Lake Michigan coast in Wisconsin (Green Bay area). Gorgeous up there. If I could endure the weather, I'd consider that place.

Just another weekend shot to hell in my hometown. Have 100 employees at our distribution center in Cicero, just a stone throw from Fuller Park. Don’t think I know any employee there who hasn’t been impacted by this crisis. Rahm should accept the offer to bring in the National Guard or resign. And what is so pathetic is the liberal scream to abolish ICE when this is all attributed to drugs and cartels south of our border. Folks, educate yourselves for once in your life! This has nothing to do with gun control but rather how these cartel networks are throwing so much money at the youth of our impoverished urban communtinties who have no idea to create jobs with liberal leadership.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Just takes intelligence, reality and a strong conviction to bite the bullet - so to speak. Chicago is on the fast track to becoming the next Detroit!
