The IG report makes it crystal clear that Comey's letter was motivated by heading off leaks from senior NY FBI officials with a deep abiding hatred of Clinton. Otherwise, it wouldn't have happened. That act almost certainly cost her the election. It is literally "the deep state" handing the election to Trump out of political bias. It's crazy-making to think about.
Ajax ignores that and focuses on a text that demonstrates at a minimum that some FBI agents didn't want Trump to win, a common and perfectly valid political opinion to have. That they actually did anything illicit to make that desire happen goes undemonstrated. The IG report concludes that this didn't affect the investigation, which it finds rightly concluded, much less the election.
Now he's on about the fact that some FBI agents found the investigation the FBI did to be unwarranted, which isn't a scandalous opinion and did not affect a properly decided outcome.
