Take a look at this. I watched one passenger's video and never even noticed it. In the pic embedded in the article below, every passenger you can see in the frame is wearing their oxygen mask wrong. Article says "almost everyone" but I don't see one worn properly.

It isn't all that surprising, hardly anyone listens to instructions when they think the emergency will never happen to them. Given the repetitive nature of the pre-flight safety instructions I'm surprised more people don't tune it out.
The scariest part at seeing everyone failing with the oxygen masks is this sobering tidbit: several of those individuals were entrusted with sitting by the emergency exit.
