This inspired an involuntary guffaw.
Mostly because I understand wanting to increase your modo. You ask anyone, they'll tell you: the modo, the better.
No guffaw here, if I may ask. Involuntarily? OK.
What does Quasimodo's name mean?
It taken from the name of ths Sunday after Easter - Low Sunday, or "Quasimodo" Sunday. The words come from the beginning of the introit to Mass on that day, in Latin: "Quasi modo geniti infantes...", which literally means "Like just-born infants...." (generally translated slightly more poetically as something like "Like newborn babes..."). ... The author says that whether this name was given for it's meaning or for the day he was found is unkown.
See KJV 1 Peter 2:2
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
FYI
In my real life, I am eight years older than Quasimodo, so I may call him to a newborn babe.
by the way
Some lords are gracious, some are not... Same as on this site.
I know of nothing poorer Under the sun, than you, you Gods! ... Should I honour you? Why?
