Slavery Abolished in 1865...

Post by _subgenius »

...Which is over 150 years ago...a century and a half.
The year Lincoln was assasinated...our 16th President.
A year when Mark Twain was still publishing.
And significantly known as the beginning of the Reconstruction Era.

So, almost daily I come across references to "truth about slavery" and/or some other reparations drivel.... and it seems that the slavery well is dry but some people still stand around that hole with a bucket.... Why?
I mean, haven't we basically let the Germans of the hook?
