Yes, Joe Arpaio, recently pardoned convict, is seriously considering a run for Jeff Flake's seat in Arizona. If Moore wins, it could be the year of cray-cray in the GOP. I mean, the sky's the limit!

Controversial former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio says he's considering jumping into the race for retiring Sen. Jeff Flake's Senate seat, six months after his contempt-of-court charge was erased by presidential pardon.

"I am seriously, seriously, seriously considering running for the U.S. Senate," Arpaio told The Daily Beast on Thursday.

You remember a couple of years ago when the Tea Party had some unsuccessful candidacies like Christine O'Donnell, there was an effort to kind of rein in the cray-cray in the GOP. It's becoming less a party of a coherent national and world view, and more a popularity contest between Right Wing performance artists.
