The History of the Bible and Organized Religion.

Cuneiform: is the first written language on the planet. Developed by the Sumerians as a record keeping\taxation language. Sumerians also created the first 360 day calender, as well as the first measurement system for distance as well as weight. Nearly 1600 years into it's use the lies of the book of Genesis started to be written. Including the first versions of the Creators, Adam and Eve, Cain and Able, The Story of Noah, as well as the Story of Joseph and His Brothers.

Egypt and the Rosetta Stone: Discovered in Egypt by a band of Napoleon Bonaparte thugs, the stone is an inscription which makes the same proclamation in 3 separate languages. Ancient Egyptian, a new form of Egyptian(not using any familiar characters) As well as Greek. Both of the Egyptian Languages are dead languages, meaning no longer spoken or written. Greek however is the oldest language in the world still in use today.

With the Rosetta stone we were able to fully translate Ancient Egyptian which is approximately the worlds third oldest written language. The Egyptian hieroglyphs tells us a modified version of the creation story as originally devised by the ancient Sumerians. Other documents include the Egyptian Book of the Living as well as the Egyptian Book of the Dead. (The Pearl of Great Price was translated from a mummy's book of the dead burial scroll) Ancient Egypt was a true theocracy. Citizens were required to pay taxes in order to obtain the proper burial scrolls in order to gain entrance to the afterworld.(There are approximately 5 copies of Pearl of Great Price style burial scrolls that have been discovered and archived)

The Dead Sea Scrolls: The dead sea scrolls are the oldest known copies of the old testament. These scrolls were discovered in the 1940's by 2 shepherds. The scrolls were in sealed in clay jars inside of caves. The scrolls are written entirely in Hebrew, which is a modified version of Greek. Hebrew is written Greek with the vowels removed. Sumerian measuring and mathematical systems were still used in this era.

These scrolls detail yet further modifications of the Creation Story, The written existence of only Sea Dragons, no mention of Land Dragons. The true Height of Goliath.

I think the Greeks first used the Linear B script. The subsequent Greek alphabet was adapted from the Phoenician writing system. The Phoenician writing system was similar to those used by other Semitic-speaking peoples of the Levant in that they used only consonants. The Greeks dropped the signs for which there was no Greek equivalent and added vowels. At least, that is what I have read.

Please could you spell 'Chronological' correctly in your two thread titles?

This is, after all, the Celestial Forum, where we are not supposed to be offensive. And illiteracy in these days of spell-checkers is certainly offensive.

No it isn't. Greek is, and always has been, a member of a completely different language family from Hebrew. You would know that if you knew anything at all about either language. Their grammar and vocabulary are quite distinct from one another, as are their writing systems. Greek is a member of the Indo-European language group (which includes English, German and French amongst others), while Hebrew is a member of the West Semitic group (which includes Arabic), itself a subgroup of the Afro-Asiatic group.

Posting categorical statements on the basis of ignorance is offensive. Please don't do it again.

Oh, you mean that the writing systems in which the Hebrew and Greek languages are written both ultimately derive from the same source? True. But this certainly is NOT true if you are referring to the languages themselves, which is what a normal reading of your words would suggest:

Quote:
Hebrew is written Greek with the vowels removed

First verse of Genesis in Hebrew (reads right to left):

בְּרֵאשִׁ֖ית בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֵ֥ת הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וְאֵ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ

First verse of Genesis in (Septuagint) Greek (left to right):

᾿Εν ἀρχῇ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν.

Vowels removed:

ν ρχ πσν θς τν ρνν κ τν γν.

No resemblance to the Hebrew, as you can see (even in reverse).

Keep reading. You're producing strange alternative cartoon versions of a broad and old category of human activity. But I admire your interest in the subject.
