Job 9:9 ESV

Who made the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the chambers of the south;

Job 38:31-32 ESV

“Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades or loose the cords of Orion? Can you lead forth the Mazzaroth in their season, or can you guide the Bear with its children?

Ah, your book only mentions them; my telescope reveals them. In fact, it reveals the act of creation itself, doesn't it? In fact, it's a greater witness than scripture.

Creation doesn't mention anything that was unknown at the time a few thousand years ago. It leaves unmentioned the creation of black holes. Why is that? It doesn't mention the planets, their moons or their rings. It fails to say anything at all about galaxies. And yet somehow the stretching out mentioned in Isaiah is supposed to refer to the Big Bang and the round disk mentioned in Isaiah is supposed to refer to the sphere shape that is the earth. Creationists see what they want to see in their old text, nothing more. :rolleyes:
Kolob’s set time is “one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest” (Abraham 3:4). I take this as a round number. - Gee
