And he took sexual advantage of Denson, a young missionary in his charge. Once he did so, did he confess to his leaders? Was he then immediately removed or did he remove himself from that leadership position? Or did he remain, where he was allowed ample opportunity to continue to take sexual advantage of vulnerable young people whose immediate health and safety was in his control?

June was sexually active on her mission. June broke the law of chastity with another missionary and I know she seduced Joseph Bishop. You cannot blame the church for the sin of Joseph Bishop and June Denson.

So he was not President of the MTC at the time, but rather just some guy with an office in the basement corridors? Sort of makes sense, if you view the situation with one or both eyes closed while humming that song from Mission Impossible.

What if Peacemaker was furnished a report from Kirton McConkie after one of their operatives solicited signed statements from key mission personnel with the promise that they would be given extra wives in the Celestial Kingdom and free passes with valet parking to the FAIRSaints annual conference at the Higbee-Lee Nissan dealership in Santaquin, Utah? Oh yeah, and that their sons would receive a "get out of the dungeon free" card from the BYU Honors Code Office.

The truth is that the MTC president cannot have consensual sex with a person under his authority. That's just one of those things that defies apologetics and mental gymnastics. If you accept that there was sexual activity between them, Bishop committed some degree of sexual assault against Denson.

It’s hard to imagine a greater gap in authority than the one between the president of the United States and a female White House intern, but somehow, when he has a (D) after his name, it’s his private business if he receives multiple helmet-buffings from said intern.

What makes you think it was his private business? It was a disgraceful situation, and it most certainly deserved every bit of exposure it got. you agree then, that the lds church was absolutely wrong to hide the situation and handle it as they did?
