There is a very interesting thread on the Great and Specious board about protest being the bottom up change agent for the LDS Church.
I think some posters will argue that change only occurs through protest from members and fear of bad publicity or governmental ordered change. Hopefully, they will not forget that change can also occur when the top man also has grievances against certain words or the entire group of Brethren reacts vehemently to hated Supreme Court decision. Other posters will contend that since the Church can do no wrong, no one should question the men with the hoods, whips and executioner's ax at Honors Code Office.
