At MAD, phaedrusut has stated a thread about a newly revealed document from the Joseph Smith Papers project which shows that Joseph F Smith lied in 1908 when he claimed that Joseph Smith had declared Elijah Abel's priesthood ordination null and void.

Joseph F. Smith cannot be faulted for his repeated lying to the United States Congress. He was merely upholding the sacred Law of Apologetics.
