Ted Bundy fooled many. So, it's no surprise he fooled the HG re the baptism interview. I think the HG is a sucker for clean cut smooth talkers like Bundy was. Just look how Nelson fooled the HG into validating the name change nonsense.

fyi -- Netflix's Ted Bundy Tapes episode 2 has a bit about his church affiliation. His former branch president is interviewed extensively.
