I remember when we used to refer to "The Work and the Glory" as the philosophies of men, mingled with history.

I find it interesting that they chose to present this nuanced church history in the same format.

I'm wondering if this is the new thing to give investigators, rather than the Book of Mormon. :wink:

Kindle version footnotes link directly to JSP's and other resources. From my experience it works pretty much seamlessly on a smartphone. Nice resource.

Both together I think would be good. I would imagine, however, that investigators may simply be referred to the electronic version.

From the comments and reviews...
As a person who has delved quite deeply into the primary sources of Mormon church history, I find saints to be severely lacking in truth and transparency. It is another cherry picked, white washed version of Mormon history. If you really want to learn history, I suggest other books, such as Grant Palmer's or Michael Quinn's. If you want historical fiction, go ahead and read saints.
