Has been a few decades now but I remember BYU Police had more powers than most local police depatments. BYU cops could go anywhere in the State without calling on local agencies and arrest, detain, whatever.

Have been gone for some time, but maybe others will remember this one. Not sure if the State changed how they operated or not.
