Now I have something to do when my wife goes to church! Looking forward to it!
Next will be the Joseph Bishop 4 part podcast, right?

LOL!
Bill Reel is recording something on that this morning, which will probably be up shortly.
We have been batting it back and forth in several phone conversations.
I expect Bill's will be a good podcast on the subject!

I agree its pathetic but its also one of the reason's believers are so disconnected from anything that sheds a negative light on the operations of the church. They mentally check out and plug their ears...its pathetic.
by the way consig...I've run out of superlatives to express my apprecition for your podcast. It is by far and away the podcast that I now look most forward to with the most anticipation. Thank you thanks you thank you.

consiglieri,
Part 3 was my favorite part of the 3-part series. I do have to challenge your assertion that Eyring is making a "new definition" since this was actually being use by the church over 10 years ago (from page 76):
"But it’s not percentages that are important. “The numbers don’t tell the real story,” stated Bruce Olsen, managing director of the Church Public Affairs Department, in an April 2005 news release. “The real measure of Latter-day Saints is the depth of their faith and how it changes people’s lives.” And lives are changing for the better all over the world."

I tried to complement Bill in the comments section of his Bishop, we quit podcast. I do wonder why he rejected it?
Anyway, I would still love to see you capture your thoughts in a RFM podcast as well.
Episode 3 was the perfect addition to this series! Thanks Consig.
