A Sincere, Heartfelt Expression of Empathy to Elder Price

or at least the actor who plays Elder Price in the musical,The Book of Mormon, who must now remember, after singing the song over 5,000 times, to sing Russell Neilson in place of Thomas Monson. Dude I feel your pain.

It's time to set my worries free
Time to show the world what Elder Price is about
And share the power inside of me

I believe that God has a plan for all of us
I believe that plan involves me getting my own planet
And I believe that the current President of the Church, Thomas Monson, I mean, Russell M. Neilson, speaks directly to God
I am a Mormon
And dangit, a Mormon just believes

While Thomas Monson was never my prophet, I believe that he was a good decent man who other than propagating Mormonism, did try to do the best with the cards that was dealt him. My only hope is that in his deteriorating mind as it slipped into dementia, is that he came to recognize that he over saw the high water mark in the progress of the church that he so loved and served and that he recognized that the church will continue into slip into irrelevance in the years to come.

Rest in Peace Mr. Monson, you no longer need to worry about such matters.

Very nice thoughts. I will say, the Book of Mormon Musical is hillarious. And the actor who plays Elder Price has an awesome voice! He hits a high B in the song, “I Believe”.
