Surrogate Motherhood
The Church strongly discourages surrogate motherhood. However, this is a personal matter that ultimately must be left to the judgment of the husband and wife. Responsiblity for the decision rests solely upon them.
I wonder if the church couldn’t find a way to monetize Surrogate Motherhood? Seriously, they didn’t even counsel the husband and wife to pray about it?!?

Single parent - use LDS family services for all your adoption needs. $
Forms of sterilization - don’t do it because we need those rising generations of tithe payers. $
Surrogate Motherhood - ... can’t think of any money opportunities. Just say we are against it but leave it up to the husband and wife.
